Uzma Khan specialises in Information Management

Mrs Khan
holds Bachelor of Science degree in Computer
Science from the University of Botswana
and has served the Bank of Botswana on
Internship. In addition, she has also
acquired teaching experience by offering
part-time demonstrator at University of
Botswana to Computer Science students
and lecturing part-time at Botswana Accountancy
College.
She holds
position of Director Marketing and Information
Technology. She offers advisory and support
services to the clients in the areas of
system development, marketing and information
technology requisite for development of
business in their respective specific
environments.

for consultancy, mentoring and training

i)
Mrs. Nonzwakazi Victoria Malete - Specialisation
in Trade and Investment Promotion
Mrs. Nonzwakazi
Victoria Malete is a retired public officer.
She is specialist in , trade and investment
promotion, marketing, business management
advisory services and events organization
such as fairs and exhibitions.
She holds
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the
University of South Africa and a Junior
Secondary Teacher’s Certificate.
She has been taught in both formal and
non formal schools in South Africa, Swaziland
and Botswana. She became a citizen of
Botswana in 1980. She is a trained education
Broadcaster.
After
serving the Ministry of Education as a
Course Development Officer (Human and
Social Biology) as Chief Examiner of the
same subject in the then Department of
Non – formal Education, she was
transferred to Department of Trade and
Investment in the Ministry of Commerce
and Industry as Senior Commercial Officer
in 1991. She was assigned to organise
the then Botswana International Trade
Fair and Coordinate participation of Botswana
manufacturers at International and Regional
Trade Fairs such as the French Leather
Work. She has organized Botswana International
Fair for 8 years i.e. 1991 – 1998.
After inception of Fairground Holdings,
she has been assisting Fairground Holdings
member of the BITF Taskforce. She was
transferred to Department of Trade &
Consumer Affairs, where she was Head of
Licensing till 2004. During this period,
she was instrumental in the formation
of the Trade Act, 2003 and the new Liquor
Act, and formation of Competition Policy.
However, she continued assisting Fairground
Holdings as a Member of the BITF Taskforce.
till its demise in 2005. During 2004 she
held a position of Deputy Director of
the Department of Trade & Consumer
Affairs till her retirement in 2006. During
this period she got training in Human
Resources Development and responsible
for Human Resources Management within
the Department.
She has
also participated in various general and
specialized international trade fairs.
She was also coordinator of Buy Botswana
campaign and interacted with both Large
scale manufacturers and SMMEs throughout
Botswana offering them mentoring and consultancy
services in the areas of business development,
export marketing, exhibition participation
and display management etc. During her
public service, she also participated
in various committees and sub-committees
which were tasked to review policies and
programmes of developing SMMEs.
After
her retirement from public service, she
has associated herself with the Business
Promoter as Senior Consultant and serves
SMMEs throughout Botswana.
ii)
Mr. Donald Moeti Koogotsitse – Specialisation
in Strategic Management and Organisational
Development
Mr. Koogotsitse
is a seasoned director, manager, trainer
and administrator spanning over 16 years
acquired from both private and public
sectors; having worked for large organizations
such as De Beers Group of Companies, University
of Botswana and Botswana Railways and
serving NGOs at senior positions such
as Chief Executive, Manager etc.
He holds
Masters in Strategic Management from University
of Derby in UK. He has attended several
management courses and is a member of
related professional bodies.
He is
a committed member and founding Chief
Executive of JCI Botswana, a credited
for establishing a full-fledged secretariat;
than won the Junior Chamber International
(JCL) “100% Efficiency award”
within the first year of operation in
recognition of outstanding Administration
and Management. He served on the Board
for Kweneng Rural Development Trust, Botswana
Productivity Association and held the
position of Secretary General for Botswana
National Youth Council. He was Minister
of Foreign Affairs in the 1994/5 BIAC
Student Representative Council and was
the Chief Negotiator of joint unions Task
Force at the height of Botswana railways
retrenchments in 1995.
Donald
is the Director of High Capacity Enterprises
(Pty) Ltd (HICEPS), a logistics and administrative
support company he founded in 2003; an
Administrator at Southern Africa Media
Development Fund (Samdef) as well as manager
of Molepolole based Boribamo United Football
Club. He was appointed by the Minister
to serve in the Labour Advisory Board
for a three year term (2006 - 2009).
On various
missions he has travelled extensively
within the SADC region and abroad covering
Austria, Ethiopia, Hong Kong, Japan, and
Spain among others. He is certified trainer
of JCL Training Institute and member of
the International Association of Facilitators
(IAF). He has conducted workshops for
clients across sectors with participants
from all over Africa on leadership, networking,
governance, entrepreneurship, customer
service and NEPAD.

Mr. Abednigo N. Ntsimako – Specialisation
In Marketing, Branding and Public Relations
Mr. Ntsimako
is a specialist consultant in corporate
and brand strategy, advertising sales,
marketing and communications after 16-
year career spent with multinational newspapers
and the leading local advertising agencies.
Mr. Ntsimako has recently accomplished
consultancy on Image and strategy of Vodacom
in South Africa.
In 1985,
after completing his secondary education,
he immediately went to UK for certificate
for communication in Technical English
(City and Guilds) sponsored by the Botswana
Government Printer and came back to join
the Botswana polytechinic for certificate
in Printing (Bookbinding and print finish)
till 1986.
In 1987,
he went for Diploma I Journalism in Zambia
and came back in 1988 to Government printer
and worked as a machine minder for various
printing aspects. He was part time primary
adult night school at Naledi Adult Education
Centre till 1990. From 1990 to date, he
has served various private media houses
such as Gazette Newspaper as Senior Advertising
Representative, The Botswana Guardian/Sun
as Freelance Advertising / Marketing Representative
and special projects coordinator; the
Mmegi/Reporter – Marketing officer
(features and supplement); Media Communications
(Ad Agency) as Marketing / Accounts Executive;
Roro interior Designers as Business Development
Manager; Mokgosi Newspaper as Special
Projects Consultant.
Mr. Ntsimako
has done a lot of media consultancy projects
including MISA Regional Media Directory,
MISA Media Awards, Advertising brochure2002,
another one of 2003 and most recently
the 10th anniversary brochure and Media
awards for 2005, and participating in
other media activities including workshops.

Mr. Saad Mubashir Sheikh – Specialisation
in Accounting, Financial Management and
Investment Management
Mr. Saad
M. Sheikh is Public Accountant, Financial
Management Advisor, Investment Management
Advisor and Tax Advisor. Mr. Saad Mubashir
Sheikh is a Chartered and Certified Public
Accountant.
After
completing his secondary education from
Gaborone Secondary School, he did a diploma
in Information Systems from the Institute
of Data Processing Management (IDPM).
Thereafter, he did his Bachelor of Accounting
from University of Botswana and thereafter
studied at Botswana Accountancy College
for professional accountancy course of
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
(ACCA). He completed ACCA in June 2002.
Currently he holds full membership of
ACCA, UK and Botswana Institute of Accountants,
as an Associate Member.
He has
acquired more than 6 years professional
experience in financial management, auditing
and accountancy by virtue of his association
with Moores Rowland and Horwath Guru Group,
Chartered Accountancy firms in Gaborone.
He is Managing Director of Euphritis (Pty)
Ltd., a public accountancy firm since
2004.

Mr. Shahid Mubashir Sheikh - Specialisation

Mr. Shahid
M. Sheikh is a Chartered and Certified
Public Accountant and Director of Euphritis
(Pty) Ltd., a public accountancy firm
since 2004.

completing his secondary education from
Gaborone Secondary School, he did his

of Botswana and thereafter studied at

Mr. Sajid M. Sheikh is
an Electrical and Electronic Engineer,
specialising in ICT, computer hardware,
Networking, Graphic Designing, CCNA and
CWNA Training. He is a BOTA Accredited
Trainer in the area of Electrical and
Electronic Engineer.
Mr. Sajid M. Sheikh holds
qualifications of MSc (Masters in Science)
in Electronic Systems Engineering from
the University of Botswana, BEng (Bachelor
of Engineering) in Electrical and Electronic
from the University of Botswana, CWNA(Certified
Wireless Network Administrator) from Compuplus
Training in Pretoria and CCNA 1, 2, 3
and 4 Instructor Courses from University
of Botswana Cisco Academy. He also holds
Diploma in Computer Maintenance from Genetic
Computer School, Botswana. He holds membership
of professional institutes in both Botswana
and USA. He is Member of Institute of
Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE),
USA and Graduate Member of Botswana Institution
of Engineers since 2005.
He wrote his research
thesis on “VoIP: Design, Implementation
and a regulatory framework for Botswana”
for his Masters Degree. The project he
completed for his Bachelors Degree was
a development of an Online Course using
Macromedia Authorware. He has recently
delivered a research paper on “Development
of a Low Cost PBX System in Developing
Countries using Open Source Software,”
at the 10th International Biennial Conference,
Botswana organised by Botswana Institution
of Engineers (BIE), Gaborone, Botswana.
On 8th October 2005 at
the Graduation Ceremony, Mr. Sajid M.
Sheikh was the Prize winner of the Dean’s
Prize (Faculty of Engineering and Technology
– University of Botswana) and The
Lady Olebile Masire Prize (Faculty of
Engineering and Technology – University
of Botswana). The Dean’s Prize is
awarded by the senate annually to a final
year student adjudged academically the
most outstanding in the Faculty of Engineering
and Technology with a degree average mark
of at least 75%. The Lady Olebile Masire
Prize is a prize awarded to the best final
year degree student in the Faculty of
Engineering and Technology.
Besides studying at the
University of Botswana, he was also engaged
as Part-Time Teaching Assistant and CCNA
Instructor in the Faculty of Engineering,
University of Botswana, Part-Time lecturer
for Management Information Systems in
the CCE Department, University of Botswana.
Mr. Sajid Sheikh is Motswana
by birth. He has offered consultancy services
to many clients of Business Promoter in
the areas of marketing, branding and publicity
material development, technology identification
and sourcing including training in IT
and computer use. He served as Director
of Operations to Business Promoter from
May 2005 to February 2009. He has also
got more than 5 years experience in public
relations, graphic designing, website
designing, production of publications
etc. Mr. Sajid M. sheikh also initiated
and started the “The Digest”
magazine of Botswana as the pioneer editor
to which he served until February2009.
Sajid also served as an
I.T. Consultant at TinyShed (Pty) Ltd
to provide support to the Global Libraries
Technical Support Services Contract tender
won under ACHAP from January 2009 to March
2009. Mr. Sajid M. Sheikh is currently
an IT Trainer at BOTUSA/CDC Botswana,
an agency of the U.S. Diplomatic Mission.
He has received an award thus far in recognition
of special efforts and superior performance
in October 2009 from the Department of
States, Unites States of America (US Embassy
in Botswana).
